Meal Plan September 5-11

Chicken Curry in the Crockpot
Rotisserie Chicken in the Crockpot
Breakfast for dinner
Homemade Pizza
Baked fish with salsa and cheese

It is going to be really rainy this week and starting to cool off. Time to start up the oven! Goals for the week: make muffins, bread, and make a pasta sauce that isn't loaded with sodium.

What's on you agenda for the week?

Yummy!
I have a super easy meal to add to your plan sometime...Grilled Pizza!
Ingredients...
1 Boboli pizza crust (Or make your own...it was easy with the premade one)
1 jar of pizza sauce or tomato sauce
Toppings (We made one Turkeyroni (turkey pepperoni) pizza and one veggie pizza with tomatoes, zucchini, onion, olives, green peppers and mushrooms)
Mozzarella cheese
Olive oil

Heat the grill to about 300 degrees or till hot enough that you can hold your hand close to the grate for no more than 2 seconds. (Not kidding---this is what the directions said!) Put Olive Oil on both sides of the pizza dough and place it on a cookie sheet. Slide it off the cookie sheet onto the grill grates. Watch it! Cook for about 5 minutes. When you start to see grill marks and the dough starts to bubble a bit (white dough will, wheat not so much). Cook for 5-10 mintues more or until you see grill marks. Take off the grill and put on the cookie sheet grill mark side up. Put on the sauce and the toppings. Put back on the grill unmarked side down. Grill for about 10 more minutes. I watched it closely. YOu want the toppings warm and melted and some grill markings but not burned and runny! :)
